Longtail Aviation International Limited

Results of an investigation conducted by a Designated Enforcement Officer, Ontario Region, of the Canadian Transportation Agency indicate that Longtail Aviation International Limited (Longtail) has violated subsection 74(2) of the Canada Transportation Act in that it operated fifth/seventh freedom flights in Canada without authorization by the Agency. Longtail did not request authority from the Agency prior to each flight that it operated between Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Thereby, Longtail did not comply with the terms and conditions of its non-scheduled international licence No. 080051 for the following flights: April 8, 2015 from Toronto to Las Vegas, a Canadian originating flight; April 12, 2015 from Las Vegas to Toronto, a return of the same passengers to Canada, each flight using aircraft type Falcon 900 with registration VQ-BYT.
