This image shows the spectrum of dispute resolution options offered at the Canadian Transportation Agency. The spectrum ranges from collaborative dispute resolution methods (such as facilitation and mediation) to adjudicative dispute resolution (such as final offer arbitration, arbitration (rail-related) and adjudication). At the most collaborative end of the spectrum, the outcome is decided by the parties. At the other end, Agency Members determine the outcome of the dispute through adjudication. ↑
