APPLICATION by Volga-Dnepr Airlines pursuant to section 32 of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended.

Volga-Dnepr Airlines (Volga) has applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) to vary 110-A-2015">Decision No. 110-A-2015 to permit Volga to operate the return flight on or before May 1, 2015 instead of April 18, 2015.

In 110-A-2015">Decision No. 110-A-2015, the Agency exempted Volga from the application of paragraph 57(a) of the CTA to allow it to operate one flight from Vancouver, British Columbia to Iqaluit, Nunavut and return to carry a Sikorsky S-64 helicopter on behalf of Erickson Air Crane Inc. (Erickson Crane) using an Antonov 124-100 aircraft.

Also, condition No. 1 of the Volga-Dnepr Airlines, Exemption Order 2015 provides that Volga-Dnepr Airlines may operate domestic flights between April 13, 2015 and April 19, 2015 to carry the S-64 Skycrane, on behalf of Erickson Crane, between Vancouver and Iqaluit.

On April 17, 2015, the Minister of Transport issued the Order amending the Volga-Dnepr Airlines, Exemption Order 2015, amending Condition No. 1 as follows:

Volga-Dnepr Airlines may operate domestic flights between April 13, 2015 and May 1, 2015 to carry the S‑64 Skycrane, on behalf of Erickson Crane, between Vancouver and Iqaluit.

The Agency has considered the application and the material in support and finds, pursuant to section 32 of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA), that there has been a change in the facts or circumstances pertaining to the Decision since it was issued and that it should be varied.

Accordingly, the Agency, pursuant to section 32 of the CTA, varies the exemption set out in 110-A-2015">Decision No. 110-A-2015 as follows:

This exemption is in effect during the period of validity of the Order amending the Volga-Dnepr Airlines, Exemption Order 2015 dated April 17, 2015 and the Ministerial Exemption dated April 10, 2015.
