Sabourin Lake Airways Limited (hereinafter the applicant) has applied to the National Transportation Agency to operate the service set out in the title. The application was received on November 1, 1988.

Under Licence No. 880465, the applicant is authorized to operate a Class 3 Specific Point domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A, B and C, serving the points Sandy Lake, Red Lake, Deer Lake, Cat Lake, Sachigo Lake, Cochenour, Pikangikum, Muskrat Dam, Poplar Hill, Round Lake (Weagamow Lake) and Bearskin Lake, Ontario.

Notice of the application was published on January 11, 1989 in the newspaper of the area concerned and copies of the notice were sent to selected air carriers and to others believed to be interested. The notice was also posted at the post offices of Sandy Lake, Deer Lake, Cat Lake, Sachigo Lake, Cochenour, Pikangikum, Muskrat Dam and in the local stores of Poplar Hill and North Spirit Lake. No interventions opposing the granting of the application were filed with the Agency. Accordingly, the application is hereby approved.

A new document of licence, bearing Licence No. 880465, to operate a Class 3 Specific Point domestic service serving the points Sandy Lake, Red Lake, Deer Lake, Cat Lake, Sachigo Lake, Cochenour, Pikangikum, Muskrat Dam, Poplar Hill, Round Lake (Weagamow Lake), Bearskin Lake and North Spirit Lake, Ontario, will be issued to Sabourin Lake Airways Limited upon the applicant establishing to the satisfaction of the Agency that it meets the requirements set out in paragraph 72(2)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, S.C. 1987, c. 34.
