IN THE MATTER OF section 347 of the Railway Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. R-3; and

IN THE MATTER OF a review and revision of the Uniform Classification of Accounts prescribed by the National Transportation Agency for use by railway companies subject to the Railway Act.

THE NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION AGENCY HEREBY:

Adopts the Uniform Classification of Accounts and Related Railway Records dated January 1, 1989.

AND HEREBY ORDERS THAT:

  1. The Uniform Classification of Accounts and Related Railway Records dated January 1, 1989 (hereinafter U.C.A.), a copy of which is attached to this order as Appendix "A" and forms part of this Order, is prescribed for use by all railway companies subject to the jurisdiction of the National Transportation Agency.
  2. The U.C.A. shall be used by the said railway companies on and after January 1, 1989.
