IN THE MATTER OF the operation of a Class 4 Charter domestic service and a domestic service by Wawa Airways Inc. - Licence Nos. 883697 and 883698.

WHEREAS under Licence No. 883697, Wawa Airways Inc. (hereinafter the Licensee) is authorized to operate a Class 4 Charter domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A and B, from a base at Wawa/Hawk Junction, Ontario;
AND WHEREAS under Licence No. 883698, the Licensee is authorized to operate a domestic service;
AND WHEREAS by registered letter dated December 5, 1989, the Licensee was required to show cause by December 26, 1989 why Licence Nos. 883697 and 883698 should not be suspended or cancelled pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, R.S.C., 1985, c. 28 (3rd Supp.);
AND WHEREAS to date, the Licensee has failed to reply to the aforementioned letter;
AND WHEREAS Transport Canada advised the Agency that the Licensee's Operating Certificate was cancelled;
AND WHEREAS the Agency has determined that the Licensee ceases to have the qualifications necessary for the issuance of the said licences;
AND WHEREAS the Agency has reviewed the matter and considers it appropriate to suspend Licence Nos. 883697 and 883698 and to require the Licensee to show cause why the said licences should not be cancelled.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
- Licence Nos. 883697 and 883698 are hereby suspended pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987.
- The Licensee is hereby required to show cause within 30 days from the date of this Order why the said licences should not be cancelled pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987.
This Order shall form part of Licence Nos. 883697 and 883698 and shall remain affixed thereto as long as the said Order is in force.
