WHEREAS by Decision No. 217-A-1989 dated May 3, 1989, Hinterland Air Ltd. (hereinafter the applicant) was granted authority to operate a Class 3 Specific Point domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Group B, serving the points Island Lake, Manitoba and Deer Lake, Ontario, subject to meeting the requirements set out in paragraph 72(2)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, R.S.C., 1985, c. 28 (3rd Supp.);

AND WHEREAS by letter dated March 23, 1990, the applicant was granted until July 1, 1990 to meet the requirements of the Agency;

AND WHEREAS by registered letter dated October 4, 1990, the applicant was required to show cause on or before November 3, 1990 why Decision No. 217-A-1989 should not be rescinded for failure to meet the requirements of the Agency;

AND WHEREAS to date the applicant has failed to either establish to the satisfaction of the Agency that it has the qualifications necessary for licence issuance or to respond to the aforementioned show cause letter;

AND WHEREAS the Agency has considered the matter and is of the opinion that Decision No. 217-A-1989 should be rescinded.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:

Decision No. 217-A-1989 dated May 3, 1989 is hereby rescinded.
