IN THE MATTER OF the suspension of Licence Nos. 050030 and 050031 imposed by Order No. 2005-A-678 dated December 16, 2005 - Sasair Inc. carrying on business as Service aérien du Saint-Laurent.

File Nos. M4210/S517-1 / M4210/S517-2

Under Licence No. 050030, Sasair Inc. carrying on business as Service aérien du Saint-Laurent (hereinafter the Licensee) is authorized to operate a domestic service, small aircraft.

Under Licence No. 050031, the Licensee is authorized to operate a non-scheduled international service, small aircraft, to transport traffic on a charter basis between Canada and any other country.

By Order No. 2005-A-678 dated December 16, 2005, Licence Nos. 050030 and 050031 were suspended pursuant to subsection 63(1) and paragraph 75(1)(a) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10 (hereinafter the CTA) as the insurance coverage prescribed in the Licensee's certificate of insurance on file with the Canadian Transportation Agency (hereinafter the Agency) had been cancelled. The Licensee was provided with a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the Order to show cause why Licence Nos. 050030 and 050031 should not be cancelled pursuant to subsection 63(1) and paragraph 75(1)(a) of the CTA.

The Agency has been notified that the insurance coverage prescribed in the Licensee's certificate of insurance on file with the Agency has been reinstated. Therefore, the Agency is satisfied that the Licensee meets the requirement of subparagraphs 61(a)(iii) and 73(1)(a)(iii) of the CTA.

Accordingly, the suspension of Licence Nos. 050030 and 050031 imposed by Order No. 2005-A-678 dated December 16, 2005 is no longer in effect.
