Order No. 2012-A-446

December 28, 2012

CANCELLATION of ExcelAire Service, Inc.’s Licence No. 977345.

File No.:
M4211/E187-2

In its Order No. 2012-A-382 dated November 5, 2012, the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency), pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended (CTA), suspended the non-scheduled international licence of ExcelAire Service, Inc. (Licensee). The Agency took this action because the Licensee did not hold a valid Canadian aviation document. The Licensee was provided with 30 days to show cause why the licence should not be cancelled.

To date, the Licensee does not hold a valid Canadian aviation document and has failed to show cause why the licence should not be cancelled.

The Agency concludes that the Licensee does not meet the applicable requirements of the CTA.

Pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the CTA, the Agency must cancel the licence.

Accordingly, the Agency, pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the CTA, cancels the licence.
