Decision No. 312-A-2012

In its Order No. 2012-A-257, the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) suspended the domestic licence of Silver Helicopters Ltd. (Licensee).

In response to the Order, the Licensee has requested that the licence remain suspended and not be cancelled.

Having considered the application, the Agency orders that the licence remain suspended.

To reinstate the licence, the Licensee is provided with one year to file an application. If, at that time, the Agency concludes that the Licensee meets all the applicable requirements of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended (CTA), the Agency will reinstate the licence.

If within one year the application for reinstatement is not filed or the Licensee does not meet any of the applicable requirements of the CTA, the Licensee is provided with an additional 30 days following the expiry of one year to show cause why the licence should not be cancelled.
