Icelandair ehf (Licensee) is authorized to operate a scheduled international service, pursuant to the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Iceland on Air Transport initialled ad referendum on July 11, 2007 (Agreement).

By Diplomatic Note No. ANA002-2010 dated May 11, 2010, the Government of Canada notified the Government of the Republic of Iceland that, effective October 31, 2010, it will no longer apply the Agreement under its national laws and regulations. Therefore, on that date, services provided for under the Agreement, will no longer be authorized to operate.

The Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) has considered this matter and deems it to be consistent with Diplomatic Note No. ANA002-2010 to amend Licence No. 010006. Accordingly, the Agency, pursuant to subsection 71(1) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended, amends Licence No. 010006 by adding the following condition:

This licence shall terminate on October 31, 2010.

A new document of licence will be issued to Icelandair ehf.
