Decision No. 38-A-2012
APPLICATION by Air Canada pursuant to subsection 78(2) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended.
Air Canada has applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) to vary Condition No. 1 of temporary Licence No. 040036 to increase the frequency from four to five flights per week, and effective July 1, 2012, to increase the frequency to daily.
Air Canada is licensed to operate an international air service on a scheduled basis, using large aircraft, limited to four flights per week, between Canada and Colombia.
The Agency is satisfied that Air Canada meets all the applicable requirements of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA).
Accordingly, pursuant to subsection 78(2) of the CTA, the Agency varies Condition No. 1 of the licence to read:

The Licensee is authorized to operate an international air service on a scheduled basis, using large aircraft, between Canada and Colombia, limited to five flights per week.

Effective July 1, 2012, the Licensee is authorized to operate an international air service on a scheduled basis, using large aircraft, between Canada and Colombia, limited to one daily flight per week.
