APPLICATION by ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. carrying on business as Continental Express, ExpressJet Corporate Aviation and United Express for cancellation of Licence Nos. 970166 and 977295.
ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. carrying on business as Continental Express, ExpressJet Corporate Aviation and United Express (Licensee) is licensed to operate charter flights in accordance with Annex III of the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America signed on March 12, 2007 (Agreement).
The Licensee is also licensed to operate a scheduled international service in accordance with the Agreement.
Pursuant to paragraphs 72(2)(b) and 75(2)(b) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended (CTA), the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) may cancel the licences in accordance with a request from the Licensee.
Accordingly, the Agency, pursuant to paragraphs 72(2)(b) and 75(2)(b) of the CTA, cancels the licences.
