Trans Côte Inc. (hereinafter the applicant) has applied to the National Transportation Agency for the authority to operate the service set out in the title. The application was received on October 30, 1990.

Under Licence No. 880014, the applicant is authorized to operate a Class 3 Specific Point domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A, B and C, serving the points Blanc-Sablon, St-Augustin, La Tabatière, Tête-à-la-Baleine, Chevery, La Romaine, Kégaska, Natashquan, Havre-Saint-Pierre and Sept-Îles, Quebec.

Notice of the application was published on November 14 and 15, 1990 in the newspapers of the areas concerned and posted at the post offices of Blanc Sablon, St-Augustin, La Tabatière, Tête-à-la-Baleine, Chevery, La Romaine, Kégaska, Natashquan, Port Menier and Baie-Johan-Beetz. Copies of the notice were also sent to selected air carriers and to others believed to be interested. No interventions opposing the granting of the application were filed with the Agency.

By letter dated January 29, 1991, the Agency advised the applicant that no opposing interventions had been received and that it should therefore file Section II of its application within one year from the date of the letter.

The applicant has now filed Section II of its application in respect of the authority to serve the points Port Menier and Baie-Johan-Beetz, Quebec only. The Agency has reviewed the material filed and is satisfied that the applicant meets the requirements set out in paragraph 72(2)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, R.S.C., 1985, c. 28 (3rd Supp.) in respect of the authority to serve the points Port Menier and Baie-Johan-Beetz, Quebec only.

Accordingly, a new document of licence, bearing Licence No. 880014, authorizing the Licensee to serve the points Blanc-Sablon, St-Augustin, La Tabatière, Tête-à-la-Baleine, Chevery, La Romaine, Kégaska, Natashquan, Havre-Saint-Pierre, Sept-Îles, Port Menier and Baie-Johan-Beetz, Quebec.
