Air Manitoba Limited (hereinafter the applicant) has applied to the National Transportation Agency for authority to operate the service set out in the title. The application was received on June 12, 1991.

Under Licence No. 880352, the applicant is authorized to operate a Class 3 Specific Point domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A, B, C, D, and E, except in serving the point Oxford House, where it is restricted to Groups D and E aircraft, serving the points Winnipeg, Thompson, Island Lake, points on Gods Lake (i.e. Gods Lake, Gods Lake Narrows, Gods River), Red Sucker Lake, Oxford House, Gillam/Bird, Jenpeg, Churchill, Flin Flon, The Pas, Lynn Lake, Norway House, Cross Lake, Shamattawa, Tadoule Lake, South Indian Lake, Brochet and Lac Brochet, Manitoba, Sandy Lake and Red Lake, Ontario, Arviat, Rankin Inlet, Coral Harbour, Repulse Bay, Chesterfield Inlet, Baker Lake and Whale Cove, Northwest Territories.

Notice of the application was published on July 5, 1991 in the newspaper of the area concerned and posted at the post office of Deer Lake. Copies of the notice were sent to selected air carriers and to others believed to be interested. No interventions opposing the granting of the application were filed with the Agency.

By letter dated August 19, 1991, the Agency advised the applicant that no opposing interventions had been received and that it should therefore file Section II of its application within one year from the date of the letter.

The applicant has now filed Section II of its application. The Agency has reviewed the material filed and is satisfied that the applicant meets the requirements set out in paragraph 72(2)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, R.S.C., 1985, c. 28 (3rd Supp.).

Accordingly, a new document of licence, bearing Licence No. 880352, authorizing Air Manitoba Limited to serve the points Winnipeg, Thompson, Island Lake, points on Gods Lake (i.e. Gods Lake, Gods Lake Narrows, Gods River), Red Sucker Lake, Oxford House, Gillam/Bird, Jenpeg, Churchill, Flin Flon, The Pas, Lynn Lake, Norway House, Cross Lake, Shamattawa, Tadoule Lake, South Indian Lake, Brochet and Lac Brochet, Manitoba, Sandy Lake, Red Lake and Deer Lake, Ontario, Arviat, Rankin Inlet, Coral Harbour, Repulse Bay, Chesterfield Inlet, Baker Lake and Whale Cove, Northwest Territories, will be issued.
