Letter Decision No. LET-R-45-2022
Canadian Transportation Agency’s (Agency) approval of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company’s (CP) 2020 unit costs and Costing Manual.
The Agency approves:
a) the CP 2020 Costing Manual and deems it appropriate for use in the development of CP’s 2020 unit costs; and
b) the confidential CP 2020 unit cost values determined using the Agency-approved cost of capital rate of 5.55%, and deems them appropriate for use in legislative and regulatory cost determinations for CP operations in 2020.
The approved costing manual and approved confidential unit costs will be transmitted to CP via the Agency’s secure portal on or before December 1, 2022.
