Railway Certificates of Fitness are now accessible

Railway Certificates of Fitness (CoF) for Canadian federally-regulated railway companies are now available to the public (active, cancelled, suspended).

On all Certificates of Fitness, you will find a general description of the certificate holder's authorized rail operations within Canada. Details for railway companies that carry or host freight traffic on their network include:

1. the volume of dangerous goods they are authorized to carry in a calendar year; and
2. whether they are authorized to include the carriage of crude oil in their operations.
