Departmental Results Report 2022–2023: Reporting on Green Procurement

This supplementary information table supports reporting on green procurement activities in accordance with the Policy on Green Procurement.

Context

As of 2021, the Canadian Transportation Agency is bound by the Federal Sustainable Development Act and is required to develop a Departmental Sustainable Development Strategy (DSDS), following the November 2022 tabling of the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy (FSDS). At the time of writing, the Canadian Transportation Agency is developing its corresponding 2023–24 DSDS, including applicable targets for green procurement activities. Once tabled, this strategy can be found on Canadian Transportation Agency’s website.

Report on integrating sustainable development

During the 2022–23 reporting cycle, the Canadian Transportation Agency had no proposals that required a strategic environmental assessment (SEA) and no public statements were produced.
