Docket Nos. 89751

Under Licence No. 882182, Bathurst Inlet Developments (1984) Ltd. carrying on business as Bathurst Inlet Air Services is authorized to operate a domestic service.
Under Licence No. 882184, Bathurst Inlet Developments (1984) Ltd. is authorized to operate a domestic service.
By Decision No. 292-A-1989 dated June 8, 1989, Licence Nos. 882181 and 882183 were suspended for a period of eighteen months from the date of the Decision.
By telefaxed letter dated December 18, 1989, Bathurst Inlet Developments (1984) Ltd. requested the suspension of Licence Nos. 882182 and 882184 for the same period of time as that of Licence Nos. 882181 and 882183.
The Agency has reviewed the application and considers it appropriate to suspend Licence Nos. 882182 and 882184 until December 8, 1990. The application is hereby approved.
Licence Nos. 882182 and 882184 are hereby suspended pursuant to subsection 75(2) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, R.S.C., 1985, c. 28 (3rd Supp.), until December 8, 1990.
The Licensee is hereby required to file on or before December 8, 1990 an application to reinstate the suspended services. When the Agency is satisfied, based upon material on file or from information specifically requested from the Licensee, that the Licensee has the qualifications necessary for the issuance of the licences, namely that it is a Canadian, holds a Canadian aviation document (operating certificate) and has prescribed liability insurance coverage, the Agency shall reinstate the suspended services.
Alternatively, if no application is filed, the Licensee is required to show cause on or before December 8, 1990 why its licences should not be cancelled pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, as failure to meet any of the above requirements would give reasonable grounds to the Agency to believe that, in respect of the services for which the licences are issued, the Licensee ceases to have the qualifications necessary for the issuance of the licences.
This Decision shall form part of Licence Nos. 882182 and 882184 and shall remain affixed thereto as long as the said Decision is in force.
