Miami Air International, Inc. (Miami Air) applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) for the authority and program permit to operate an entity passenger charter flight between Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Antigua and Barbuda on April 6, 2010 and returning on April 11, 2010, using a B737/172 seat aircraft.

Miami Air is licensed to operate a non-scheduled international service to transport traffic on a charter basis between the United States of America and Canada.

Notice of the application was given to Canadian carriers that operate large aircraft for comments.

Skyservice Airlines Inc. carrying on business as Skyservice (Skyservice) filed an objection to the application. The Agency notes, however, that Skyservice is not operating at this time and that no other objections were received.

The Agency has considered the application and, pursuant to subsection 74(1) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended, deems it appropriate to add the following condition to Miami Air's Licence No. 977387:

"The Licensee is authorized to operate one Canadian originating entity passenger charter flight from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Antigua and Barbuda on April 6, 2010 and returning on April 11, 2010, using a B737/172 seat aircraft."

Further, the Agency grants program permit No. 2010-5-CEPF for the above referenced flight.

Miami Air is reminded to contact Transport Canada or the local airport authority regarding permission either to operate at specific times or to use any airport facility and for compliance with the security requirements of Transport Canada.

Regarding the availability of clearance services, Miami Air is reminded to contact the Canada Border Services Agency. This authority must be carried on board the aircraft.
