Under Licence No. 967647, Sound Flight, Inc. (hereinafter the Licensee) is authorized to operate a non-scheduled international service to transport traffic on a charter basis between points in the United States of America and points in Canada.

By Order No. 2002-A-251 dated July 8, 2002, Licence No. 967647 was suspended pursuant to paragraph 75(2)(b) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10 (hereinafter the CTA). Pursuant to that Order, the Licensee was provided with a period of one year from the date of the Order to file an application to reinstate the said licence.

The Agency notes that the Licensee has changed its name to Sound Flight, Inc. carrying on business as Tronsdal Air.

The Licensee has filed an application to reinstate Licence No. 967647. The Canadian Transportation Agency has reviewed the application and is satisfied that the Licensee meets the requirements of subparagraphs 73(1)(a)(ii) and (iii) and paragraph 73(2)(a) of the CTA.

Accordingly, the suspension of Licence No. 967647 imposed by Order No. 2002-A-251 dated July 8, 2002 is no longer in effect.

In addition, a new document of licence bearing Licence No. 967647 will be issued to Sound Flight, Inc. carrying on business as Tronsdal Air.
