Order No. 2002-A-546
December 19, 2002
File No. M4212/S224-2
Under Licence No. 977398, Swiss Air-Ambulance Ltd. (hereinafter the Licensee) is authorized to operate a non-scheduled international service to transport traffic on a charter basis between points in Switzerland and points in Canada.
By Order No. 2002-A-523 dated December 12, 2002, Licence No. 977398 was suspended pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10 (hereinafter the CTA), for failure by the Licensee to file with the Canadian Transportation Agency (hereinafter the Agency) a valid certificate of insurance. The Licensee was provided with a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the Order to show cause why Licence No. 977398 should not be cancelled pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the CTA.
Following receipt of an amended Canadian Aviation document, the Agency is satisfied that the certificate of insurance of the Licensee is now valid that the Licensee meets the requirement of subparagraph 73(1)(a)(iii) of the CTA.
Accordingly, the suspension of Licence No. 977398 imposed by Order No. 2002-A-523 dated December 12, 2002 is no longer in effect.
