SUSPENSION of Mesa Airlines, Inc. carrying on business as America West Express, Mesa Airlines, US Airways Express and United Express’ Licence No. 980022.

File No.:
M4211/U77-3

Mesa Airlines, Inc. carrying on business as America West Express, Mesa Airlines, US Airways Express and United Express (Licensee) is licensed to operate a scheduled international service in accordance with the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America signed on March 12, 2007.

The Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) finds that the Licensee does not have the prescribed liability insurance coverage.

Pursuant to subsection 72(1) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended, the Agency must suspend the licence.

Accordingly, the Agency suspends the licence and provides the Licensee with 30 days to show cause why the licence should not be cancelled.
