Order No. 2012-A-61
CANCELLATION of Federal State unitary air enterprise of Ministry for Emergency Situations of Russia carrying on business as FSUAE Emercom of Russia’s Licence No. 100055.
In its Order No. 2011-A-532 dated December 21, 2011, the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency), pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended (CTA), suspended the non-scheduled international licence of Federal State unitary air enterprise of Ministry for Emergency Situations of Russia carrying on business as FSUAE Emercom of Russia (Licensee). The Agency took this action because the Licensee did not have the prescribed liability insurance coverage. The Licensee was provided with 30 days to show cause why the licence should not be cancelled.
To date, the Licensee does not have the prescribed liability insurance coverage and has failed to show cause why the licence should not be cancelled.
The Agency concludes that the Licensee does not meet the applicable requirements of the CTA.
Pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the CTA, the Agency must cancel the licence.
Accordingly, the Agency, pursuant to paragraph 75(1)(b) of the CTA, cancels the licence.
