APPLICATION by Blok Air Ltd. to lift the suspension of Licence No. 950156 in respect of the authority to use fixed wing aircraft in Group A and Licence No. 950155 imposed by Decision No. 842-A-1995 dated December 19, 1995.

Blok Air Ltd. (hereinafter the Licensee) has applied to the National Transportation Agency to lift the suspension set out in the title. The application was received on April 22, 1996.

Under Licence No. 950155, the Licensee is authorized to operate a domestic service.

Under Licence No. 950156, the Licensee is authorized to operate a Class 4 Charter domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A and B, from a base at Thompson, Manitoba.

By Decision No. 842-A-1995 dated December 19, 1995, Licence No. 950156 in respect of the authority to use fixed wing aircraft in Group A, inter alia, and Licence No. 950155 were suspended pursuant to subsection 75(2) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, R.S.C., 1985, c. 28 (3rd Supp.).

The Agency has reviewed the application and is satisfied that the Licensee has the qualifications necessary for the issuance of Licence No. 950156 in respect of the authority to use fixed wing aircraft in Group A and Licence No. 950155. Accordingly, the Agency is of the opinion that the suspension of the said authorities imposed by Decision No. 842-A-1995 should be lifted.

The suspension of Licence No. 950156 in respect of the authority to use fixed wing aircraft in Group A and Licence No. 950155 imposed by Decision No. 842-A-1995 dated December 19, 1995 is hereby lifted.
