Georgian Express Ltd. also carrying on business as Georgian Express Cargo (hereinafter the applicant) has applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (hereinafter the Agency) for authority to operate the services set out in the title. The applications were received on August 16, 2006 and were complete and ready for processing on October 4, 2006.

Under Licence No. 000047, the applicant is authorized to operate a domestic service, small aircraft.

Under Licence No. 000048, the applicant is authorized to operate a non-scheduled international service, small aircraft, to transport traffic on a charter basis between Canada and any other country.

By Order No. 2006-A-506 dated October 2, 2006, the Agency, pursuant to paragraph 80(1)(c) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10 (hereinafter the CTA), exempted the applicant from the application of, inter alia, section 59 of the CTA to allow the applicant to offer for sale and operate a domestic service, all-cargo aircraft and a non-scheduled international service, all-cargo aircraft, until November 2, 2006, subject to certain conditions.

The Agency has reviewed the application and is satisfied that the applicant meets the requirements of paragraphs 61(a) and 73(1)(a) of the CTA.

Accordingly, new documents of licence bearing Licence Nos. 000047 and 000048 authorizing Georgian Express Ltd. also carrying on business as Georgian Express Cargo to also operate domestic service, all-cargo aircraft and a non-scheduled international service, all-cargo aircraft, will be issued.
