Bradley Air Services Limited carrying on business as First Air (hereinafter the applicant) has applied to the National Transportation Agency for a licence to operate the service set out in the title. The application was received on September 14, 1994 and was complete and ready for processing on September 16, 1994.

Notice of the application was published on October 3, 1994 in the newspapers of the areas concerned. In addition, selected air carriers and others who may have an interest in the proceedings were notified of the application. No interventions opposing the granting of the application were filed with the Agency.

The applicant met the requirements of the Agency in respect of the authority to serve Fort Simpson, Hay River and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories; and accordingly, a licence was issued to Bradley Air Services Limited carrying on business as First Air authorizing it to operate a Class 3 Specific Point domestic service serving the points Fort Simpson, Hay River and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

The applicant has now filed the material necessary to complete its application. The Agency has reviewed the material filed and is satisfied that the applicant meets the requirements set out in paragraph 72(2)(a) of the National Transportation Act, 1987 in respect of the authority to serve the points Fort Resolution, Lutsel K'e, Lac La Martre and Rae Lakes, Northwest Territories and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.

Accordingly, a new document of licence, bearing Licence No. 940322 authorizing Bradley Air Services Limited carrying on business as First Air to serve the points Fort Simpson, Hay River, Yellowknife, Fort Resolution, Lutsel K'e, Lac La Martre and Rae Lakes, Northwest Territories and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory will be issued.
