Air Saguenay (1980) Inc. (hereinafter the applicant) has applied to the National Transportation Agency (hereinafter the Agency) for the amendments set out in the title. The application was received on October 14, 1992.

Under Licence No. 880434, the applicant is authorized to operate a Class 4 Charter domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A, B and C, from a base at Wabush, Newfoundland.

Under Licence No. 882144, the applicant is authorized to operate a Class 4 Charter domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A, B and C, from a base at Chicoutimi, Quebec.

Under Licence No. 882145, the applicant is authorized to operate a Class 4 Charter domestic service using fixed wing aircraft in Groups A, B and C, from a base at Chute-des-Passes, Quebec.

The Agency is of the opinion that no public notice is required.

The Agency notes that the proposed bases of operations are located within a 25-miles radius from the bases of operations authorized under Licence Nos. 880434, 882144 and 882145 and that the applicant will be serving the same economic areas.

After consideration of the evidence before it, the Agency deems it in the public interest to amend Licence Nos. 880434, 882144 and 882145 by changing the bases of operations from Wabush, Newfoundland to Fermont, Quebec, from Chicoutimi, Quebec to St-Honoré, Quebec and from Chute-des-Passes, Quebec to Lac Margane, Quebec respectively.

Pursuant to subsection 72(4) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, R.S.C., 1985, c. 28 (3rd Supp.), Licence Nos. 880434, 882144 and 882145 are hereby amended by changing the bases of operations from Wabush, Newfoundland to Fermont, Quebec, from Chicoutimi, Quebec to St-Honoré, Quebec and from Chute-des-Passes, Quebec to Lac Margane, Quebec respectively.

Accordingly, new documents of licence bearing Licence Nos. 880434, 882144 and 882145, authorizing the operation of Class 4 Charter domestic service from bases at Fermont, Quebec, St-Honoré, Quebec and Lac Margane, Quebec respectively, will be issued to Air Saguenay (1980) Inc.
