Bakers Narrows Lodge (Bakers Narrows Air Service Ltd.)
Contravention
(A) Pursuant to section 180 of the Canada Transportation Act, SC 1996, c 10 (CTA) the undersigned Enforcement Officer has issued this notice of violation believing Bakers Narrows Lodge has committed the following 5 violations, operated an air service using an aircraft bearing registration C-GFQJ from Bakers Narrows Seaplane Airbase, Flin Flon, Manitoba, Canada (aerodrome CFF8) to and from Mikanagan Lake, Manitoba, Canada, a remote lake within aerodrome CFF8 and Kamuchawie Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, within aerodrome ZZZZ, without holding a licence issued under Part II of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA), thereby contravening section 57 of the CTA.
(B) Pursuant to section 180 of the Canada Transportation Act, SC 1996, c 10 (CTA) the undersigned Enforcement Officer has issued this notice of violation believing Bakers Narrows Lodge has committed the following 2 violations, on its website (www.bakersnarrowslodge.com), sold, cause to be sold or publicly offered for sale in Canada an air service for which no licence is held under Part II of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA) in respect of that service, thereby contravening section 59 of the CTA.
These violations occurred between June 22, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
(C) Pursuant to section 180 of the Canada Transportation Act, SC 1996, c 10 (CTA) the undersigned Enforcement Officer has issued this notice of violation believing Bakers Narrows Lodge has committed the following 3 violations, knowingly obstructed or hindered or made a false or misleading statement orally, to a person designated as an enforcement officer pursuant to paragraph 178(1)(a) of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA), who was engaged in carrying out functions under the CTA, thereby contravening subsection 173(2) of the CTA.
These violations occurred between August 29, 2024, and August 22, 2025.
(D) Pursuant to section 180 of the Canada Transportation Act, SC 1996, c 10 (CTA) the undersigned Enforcement Officer has issued this notice of violation believing Bakers Narrows Lodge has committed the following 3 violations, from whom documents or data was requested under subsection 178(4) of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA), failed to provide all reasonable assistance in their power to enable the enforcement officer making the request to carry out the enforcement officer’s duties and to furnish any information that the enforcement officer reasonably requires for the purposes of the CTA, thereby contravening subsection 178(5) of the CTA.
These violations occurred between August 29, 2024, and August 25, 2025.
