China Southern Airlines Company Limited
Contravention
(A) On or about February 3, 2025, China Southern Airlines Company Limited carrying on business as China Southern Airlines, China Southern advertised the price of an air service on their Facebook page without indicating whether the service is one-way or round-trip, thereby contravening paragraph 28(1)(b) of the Air Passenger Protection Regulations.
(B) On or about December 9, 2024, China Southern Airlines Company Limited carrying on business as China Southern Airlines, China Southern made reference to an air transportation charge in an advertisement on the website www.csair.com/ca/en/ but did not set the charge out under the heading “Air Transportation Charges”, thereby contravening subsection 28(3) of the Air Passenger Protection Regulations.
(C) On or about December 9, 2024, China Southern Airlines Company Limited carrying on business as China Southern Airlines, China Southern provided information in an advertisement on the website www.csair.com/ca/en/ that could interfere with the ability of anyone to readily determine the total price that must be paid for any optional incidental service, thereby contravening section 29 of the Air Passenger Protection Regulations.
