Contravention
(1) On or about September 28, 2024, WestJet failed to provide a service to a person with a disability who uses a mobility aid, by not returning the mobility aid to the person on arrival at the destination, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) without delay, thereby contravening paragraph 41(1)(c) of the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (ATPDR).
(2) On or about September 28, 2024, WestJet failed to provide a temporary replacement mobility aid that meet the mobility needs of a person with a disability, who did not retain their mobility aid during transportation on flight WS1680 and it was not made available to the person at their arrival at their destination, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), thereby contravening subsection 61(a) of the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (ATPDR).
