Railway, Rail Shipper and Community Help Line
The objective of the Help Line is to provide information, guidance and dispute resolution services relating to the rail provisions of the Canada Transportation Act including regulated railway operations and infrastructure, and shipper and community rights and obligations.
Help Line Details
- Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
- Messages are accepted after hours and call-backs will be done within 24 hours. Calls received on Fridays after 5 p.m. or on statutory holidays will be returned on the next business day.
- The identity of the complainant can only be revealed to the carrier with expressed written consent of the complainant.
